Introduction
Consulting Unlimited is a new and innovative engineering and ICT consulting company. Our mission is to add value to our clients by asking the obvious questions and providing reliable recommendations that mitigate risk, enhance efficiency and add value to our client’s technical and ICT solutions.
Our Team
Consulting Unlimited was founded by Russel Bason who qualified as an electronic engineer in 1996 and has been a Professional Engineer registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) since 2001.
Russel has more than 18 years of experience in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as well as telecommunications industry. His expertise ranges from digital electronic hardware design and software engineering to IP network design, ICT product development, supply chain management, international contract negotiations, business process development, project and risk management and strategic planning.
The highlight of Russel’s career to date is developing Telkom’s Global VPN product suite. He was also involved in Telkom’s African network expansion project which aimed to roll out a Multi-Protocol Label Switched (MPLS) network to sixteen African countries including Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, Swaziland, Ghana, Malawi and the DRC.

Making a difference
Our passion is to see young children thrive in their community and reach their full potential. Children love to learn and as we know these formative years are critical to their development. Enabling them to meet these developmental milestones is paramount to their success. For this reason we are involving ourselves in social projects targeted at the very young.
